This program educates and instills a strong sense of patriotism in America’s youth, raises awareness of America’s cherished values and honors the sacrifices made by our nation’s active military and veterans.
Many of today’s youth have little or no connection with the military, and therefore, no frame of reference for the bravery and sacrifices these individuals make to protect our freedoms. To build awareness and respect for American veterans and active military among the younger generation, Saluting America offers a educational school activities designed to honor and remember America’s veterans and active military personnel, as well as emotionally engage and educate students on the sacrifices made to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.
